About Marillac

How does the Marillac Clinic work?
Marillac Clinic is a Community Health Center providing primary care health care to Mesa County residents. Marillac accepts Medicaid, Medicare, CICP, Rocky Mountain Health Plans and a Sliding Scale Discount for anyone with incomes up to 200% of the federal poverty level. Eligibility is based on household size and income.
How do I become a patient?
Your first step is to contact us for an eligibility registration packet. You will need one month proof of house hold income, a valid Drivers License or State ID. Our receptionist can further explain what is needed with your completed application.   See Eligibility for more information on scheduling your appointment.

What if I need surgery?
You will need to see one of our medical providers, and if surgery is necessary we work with several surgeons in the community and you will be referred to one of them.  They agree to see our patients at a discounted rate if you are uninsured, but all payment arrangements must be made with their office.

Where are you located?
Our address is:  2333 N 6th St.  We are just one block south of St. Mary's Hospital and the south side of their parking garage. Our new Clinic at Mesa County Health Department opened February 2015 at 510 29 1/2 Road. 

Do you help me get my medicines?
We try to make your medications affordable and work with one pharmacy in Palisade that will offer the limited Marillac Clinic prescription formulary at a low cost to our patients.  If you are taking medication that we don't carry or for long term, we also have a Medication Assistance Program where we assist you filling out applications to pharmaceutical companies to get your long term medication for free.

Can anyone come to your clinic?
Yes. Marillac Clinic serves the low-middle income, uninsured, underinsured families of Mesa County.  Some public assistance programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, CHP+ , CICP are accepted and commercial insurance Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Delta Dental.

What if I have an emergency?
If you feel that you need to be seen by a medical provider immediately you need to call the clinic at 298-1782, we offer same day urgent care appointments for patients with their current Marillac card.  We provide after hours coverage.  Call our main number 298-1782.  If your condition is more complex and requires immediate medical attention that we cannot offer, you can go to either emergency department in town.  Both Community Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital Emergency Rooms participate in the CICP program.

What if I need to see a Specialist?
We work with several specialists in the community.  If your provider feels it is necessary for you to see a specialist, an appointment will be set up for you.  It will be at a discounted rate, and all payment arrangements will need to be made through their office.

What are your hours?
Medical Clinic Hours: Monday-Wednesday & Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, Thursday 10 am - 9 pm.  Dental Clinic Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 8 am - 6pm, Thursday, 9 am - 8 pm and Fridays 8 am - 12 noon.
